Interim Academic Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an interim academic administrative assistant to begin immediately through June 30, 2026 for a part-time (25-30 hours) position. The Academic Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for K-8 programs at SFFS, with a particular emphasis on providing support for the Director of Teaching and Learning and Division Heads. This role will attend to routine administrative program support, as well as be adaptable to the evolving administrative needs of the school. The Academic Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Teaching and Learning, while working most closely with senior academic leadership and the Director of Student Information Systems (SIS) & Data Operations at Friends. Long-Term Sub for Early Elementary Teacher

We are seeking an experienced early elementary teacher for a long-term substitute position starting in January 2026. Ideal candidates will demonstrate knowledge of and experience in hands-on and integrated learning, as well as early childhood development and literacy skills; be highly motivated, hard-working, collaborative, enthusiastic about working with young children, energetic and flexible; demonstrate a desire to learn; and show initiative. Substitute Teacher

We seek experienced educators compelled by the Friends School mission, which includes an exemplary education supported by a community dedicated to peaceful problem solving, service to others, simplicity, respect for the individual, and silent reflection. Substitute Teachers will serve students in all grades K through 8.
