May 2008

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in San Francisco Friends School, a coeducational independent school offering excellent academics in the Quaker tradition of learning. Our school includes kindergarten through fifth grades, with two classes at each grade level; we plan to add one class a year to create a K-8 school of approximately 400 students. We are currently accepting applications for children entering fifth grade in the fall of 2008. We do not anticipate openings in any other grades for the 2008-2009 academic year.

A visit is the best way to become acquainted with the unique philosophy and programs that our students enjoy. Read through our website, and schedule a tour to experience our educational community first-hand.

We hope you will share our delight in the compelling missions we have outlined – a mission that encourages lifelong learning, reflection, service to others, and peaceful problem-solving. If you would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me in the Admissions Office. I look forward to meeting your family throughout the admissions process.

Sincerely,

Yvette Bonaparte
