Extended Day

San Francisco Friends School offers an Extended Day Program which includes morning and afternoon care. The program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn. Program times are as followed:
7:45am – 8:05am
2:30pm – 6:00pm
The Extended Day room is located on the ground level of our building with easy access to the playground. We offer guided activities both indoors and outdoors all afternoon. Students can choose from art projects like drawing, painting, knitting and sewing. Students may also enjoy books from our extensive library or relax in the Zen Den. Outdoors, students may climb on the play structure, ride tricycles, construct with PVC piping, jump rope, or play basketball and soccer. We also provide a Middle School Hub where sixth and seventh graders can meet after school and listen to music, play ping pong, play games, and use our new gym for basketball, badminton, and soccer. We also offer a quiet study hall in the library from 3:30 to 6:00. Students are provided a healthy snack immediately following school and again at 4:30pm.
