Admissions Events

San Francisco Friends School offers a variety of opportunities for you to learn about our mission and programs. We recommend that you schedule a school tour, and welcome you to attend one of our Open Houses in order to help you in your selection process.

 

Lower School Tours for Parents

We welcome you to walk through our newly renovated building and to observe our classes in session.  You will learn about our academic program, and the way in which Quaker values are incorporated into the daily lives of the students. Tours begin at 8:45 am and last about two hours.

Open Houses

These adult only events, held at school, allow you a deeper look into our philosophy, programs, and over-all school life. Focus will be given on the teaching of math, science, reading, and writing. We will also discuss Quaker principles in the curriculum and current SFFS parents will lead a Diversity/School Community panel. You will hear from Administrators, including our Head of School, Teachers, Quaker Alumni, and enjoy music by our student musicians.
